More Tales from Puerto Vallarta
MORE FABULOUS TALES FROM PUERTO VALLARTA!
FROM GLEN AND FAYE AZUMI
WOW....What a DREAM VACATION!!! I'm going to ditto exactly what Carolyn and Larry Sussin wrote about the Dream Resort in Puerto Vallarta. Champagne greeting, our own concierge, a suite of at least 1,000 sq ft living quarters with the view of the endless horizon and magnificent crystal clear ocean that can be viewed from your balcony where you can enjoy a bubble bath in your own private Jacuzzi.
Imagine a mini bar in your room that YOU can determine what goes in it and it is absolutely FREE! How about room service, 24/7, absolutely FREE. In fact, the room service attendant will set up the table as if you were in a high class restaurant, with a table cloth, flowers and fancy napkins. Every amenity that you need for your room, from bath robes to bath slippers to sun screen, razor blade, tooth brush, tooth paste...everything is there for you, absolutely FREE!
You have a choice of 5 restaurants to choose from, whether you prefer seafood, Mexican food, Italian food, or international buffet. You pick it and it's yours absolutely FREE! On our last night, we all met at the Oceana restaurant, where they prepared for us a very special appetizer. Different fillets of fish that were caught by Kevin Kutter, Tony Stafford, Michael Yanke and Guy Keast, just hours before dinner time. Just to give you an idea of what I had for dinner.........let's see........for appetizers, I had the fish with 2 different sauces, shrimp spring rolls, a plate of mussels and clams and chowder soup. For the main course, I enjoyed baby lobster and scallops, shrimps and a steak that I could just cut with a fork. Then I topped it off with a coconut ice cream dessert. By the way, did I tell you that all this was absolutely FREE! In fact, as long as you can remember your room number, anything you ate or drank was absolutely FREE! You could be lying down by the poolside or the under the grass huts on the beachside and waiters are constantly coming by to refill your drinks. The heated pools made swimming in the pool very comfortable. In fact, you can swim up to the poolside bar and order your drink.
Faye, along with Rolinda Harris and Monica Kutter went out of their comfort zone and went parasailing. Watching them take off from the beach, one by one and soaring through the sky with the pelicans was just incredible. Hats off to the sky diving ladies as they cruised 300 to 400 ft into the blue sky and landed gently on the beach from where they took off.
The activities at the hotel were just endless. From the full on gym, Spa, beach volleyball, pool volleyball, water polo, bead making, pottery making, pool jazzercise or just plain doing nothing. What a place. We added to our shell collection and even found four baby sea turtles trying to make it to the ocean.
I can't wait to go back to the Dream Resort next year!!! But just in case, don't pinch me; I don't want to wake up from this dream. You know that dreams are absolutely FREE and so is the Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta as long as you find you're 12 new Directors by January 31, 2006.
By the way, as I was leaving the hotel, I looked back at the pool side and saw at least 100 lounge chairs with no occupants. I know, one them will have my name on it for next year. The rest is waiting for you. Are you going to join me next year?
THANK YOU, ROD!!!!!! Save my reservation for room 2057 in 2006.
